What is it about gorgeous bags that gives us all of the feels? There are so many reasons! Since last week was The Joy of J Bag Crush Week, I want to talk about the significance and evolution of the handbag.

Functional pockets really haven’t been a thing for a while and the handbag has become the quintessential keeper of secrets- hiding all of our personal items-medicines, cosmetics, vulnerabilities and items we can’t live without. 2) Our handbags have become our essential statement piece. Our handbags have become a symbol of power. They can transform into our armor giving us strength in the boardroom or highlight our personalities or beauty as it accents  our outfits. The handbag becomes an extension of who we are. 

3) An intangible, ineffable bond is formed with our handbags. Looking over all of the bags from this past week, I’m sure you’ve felt a bag pull at your heartstrings, just as we have. It’s like being a kid in a candy shop.
